Dear Tamas,
Even if the FCCAT is not an absolute must-go for french researchers, it
would certainly pump out a considerable number, so I think MACS should
be re-scheduled.
As with suggestions, even if HDS not fashionable anymore, methodology is
still developping. For example, there are systematic and cutting-edge
works on XAS imaging of preparation steps of sulfide catalysts by
Valerie Briois and coll from SOLEIL synchrotron.
Beside obvious widespread use in electrochemistry, I think sulfides are
now getting a second breath in the heterogeneous catalysts for the
reactions involving oxygenates such as (R)WGS.
